breaking news: Freespeed at WUCC 2014!

after a few long weeks of waiting, World Flying Disc Federation announced, that Switzerland is granted another spot in the open division of World Ultimate Club Championships 2014:

http://www.wfdf.org/news-media/news/press/2-official-communication/560-wfdf-approves-additional-bids-for-wucc-2014

first of all, we want to thank all the persons who were involved in the decision to give this spot to us. we know it has been a „mission impossible“ to find a bid allocation system that matches the development and complexity levels of all countries around the world. while the chosen system probably worked for most teams, some teams like us were neglected. frustrating for us, but a logical and justified effect of choosing a system that works for the vast majority. we are happy and thankful that ways could be found to consider some of the teams (like us) without original legitimacy !

these great news come just about right in time, since we are moving towards the end of a process of finding a new coaching team for the 2014 season. after many meetings and long nights of considerations, we’re on the way to have a great solution, implementing longtime experience, professional physical training knowledge and sneaky tactical brainpower.
since a participation at Worlds has a major impact on the course of the season, the decision about the WUCC spot was the last big missing link to start with the season planning.
with this motivation boost, we will shortly be back in the gym and on the field, to prepare for another tough season!

meanwhile, let us surprise you by our… hmmmm… rather fashionable… appearance at the Gaggloo Indoors tournament this weekend in Bern!
